Lakeland Mobile  utilizes the technology from the Rose-Hulman/Christy Project designs and offers the benefits of therapeutic riding to clients by bringing the simulated horse experience and exercise programs to those in need in our communities. Due to limited resources of this targeted population, it is our goal at the Lakeland Center to keep their mobile lesson costs affordable.  With your support, together we can bring this experience to the community in an effort to increase the overall health and well-being of those with a physical or cognitive diagnosis, increase the numbers served, and provide in depth data via research efforts into the benefits associated with therapeutic riding. The Lakeland Mobile Unit allows us to provide STEM educational opportunities to our community schools.  The technology provides students an opportunity to see the real-life implications of STEM and how it affects others.
